You know I never knew what the phrase “who are you wearing” meant until the last few years? I thought it was just some sort of catchphrase entertainment media people said at red carpet events. They’re actually just asking which designers’ outfits someone is wearing. The more you know, I guess.

My own fashion misunderstandings aside, it’s been a pretty fashionable year. Actress Zoë Kravtiz wore Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello at the YSL Beauty Hotel, a conservative yet friendly look. Rose McGowan wore a shiny silver Osman coat to the GQ Awards in London. Probably one of the most elaborate looks was Natalie Portman’s custom Gucci gown for the ‘Vox Lux’ premiere in Venice, a shiny gold number with pointed shoulders.

There are celebs that wear clothes, and clothes that wear celebs. I’d say these celebs are squarely in the former category.
