So it’s Thursday night and you’re trying to get your outfit ready for the Friday night date night. Whether it’s a date with your steady flame or a blind date, you always want to look your best.  As far as your outfit is concerned, it all depends on the type of date you’re going on.  Well, the same logic needs to be applied to your shoe choice for the evening as well. Here is our breakdown of 3 different dating scenarios and the shoes you should wear, to look sexy and still have a great time

Movie Night

The movie date is probably one of the most common dating options; in this case the location of the theater will dictate what shoes you should wear. If the theater is in a  trendy downtown area, we suggest you try a pair of statement heels. Because the venue is in a fashion forward location, you won’t look out of place in trendy heels. If you’re going to your local theater around the corner, then we suggest a cute pair of wedges, this will still give you a little height without looking over dressed for the evening.

Outdoor Picnic, Hike or Concert

If you’re going to be in the great outdoors leave the heels at home. They will just slow you down while you’re walking and possible annoy your date. Opt for funky fun bright sneakers, or ballet flats.  We don’t recommend wearing open toe shoes like flip flops, because if you’re walking around in an unpaved area with dirt, your feet may get a little gross.

Night Club

This is probably the trickiest date location, of course you need to look hot but you want to be comfortable enough to dance without limping. The answer is chunky heels, avoid the stiletto type thin heel, they don’t support the weight of your feel enough. Instead opt for chunkier heels that will support your foot and alleviate some of the pain, also try using a gel pad insert for added comfort.
