Take a cue from fashionable celebrity style icons like Jessica Alba, Kerry Washington, Vanessa Hudgens, Solange Knowles and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and opt for a fierce pair of bright white pointed heels this summer. Whether paired with the slinkiest of cocktail dresses or simple cuffed jeans, white pointed pumps are a simple way to add some extra “wow” factor into your look. White pumps have been a sensation this season, both on and off the runways and red carpets. Bold white pumps may be a daunting trend to try, but never fear because we have all you shoe loving Chicistas covered! Below you’ll find our three favorite ways to rock the white pointed pump trend.

With Denim
Pairing your white pointed pumps with denim is that simplest way to make this trend wearable for everyday casual outings. Opt for cuffed skinny jeans, retro wide leg jeans or even a pair of fun  printed jeans.  White pumps play well with both dark and light wash denim jeans so no matter which you prefer you’re sure to look smashing!

With White
As proven by Jessica Alba and Jennifer Hudson recently, you can wear white shoes with a white outfit…..it just has to be done very carefully.  Take a cue from Jennifer Hudson (who recently rocked a curve hugging little white dress with her pointed white pumps)and opt for a head to toe white look accented with bright bold red lips. The eye-catching pop of color will help to add some much need contrast to your white-on-white ensemble. You could also choose to go for a Jessica Alba inspired look and pair your white pointed pumps with a white dress that has sheer accents, this will allow the nude tone of your skin to break up the white hue and balance out the look of the outfit.

With Printed Shorts
While this is by far one of the more dramatic ways to rock this trend we really love the way it looks. Pairing white pointed pumps with a well-tailored pair of printed shorts makes for a cute, chic and almost preppy ensemble, as seen on Louis Roe recently. As far as the printed shorts go the sky is the limit, from paisley to polka dot, just be sure that the print has a little touch of white in it, this will help tie your whole look together.
