With the Golden Globes, the red carpet season with all of its fashionable glory has officially started. We all look forward to who wore what dress, the makeup, the hair, and of course the accessories. Whether you’re a fan of beautiful necklines or perhaps something a little sexier, this year’s Golden Globes had a lot to offer for everyone’s tastes.

Check out our picks for the best dressed at the 2015 Golden Globes.

gg1Lupita Nyong’o. It seems that every award show that Lupita steps foot on she makes the best dressed every time. This year she wore an ombre purple colored dress by Giambattista Valli that just screamed “belle of the ball”. She made us yearn for spring but we’re not mad at all.

gg2Amal Clooney. The new Mrs. George Clooney never ceases to amaze us with her wardrobe choices. She chose a simple long, black Dior Haute Couture dress with a sash that draped down her back and on to the floor. While the dress was beautiful, the best part of her look were her white long gloves which she said were hers. They instantly brought her look to a higher lever while giving the rest of us major glove envy.

gg3Viola Davis. Aside from learning how one can get away with murder, Viola taught us last night how to get away with looking regal and stunning in red. She wore a red Donna Karan Atelier gown with embellishments in the chest area that gave the dress the right pop of color it needed.

gg4Emma Stone. While Emma doesn’t always “wow” us with what she wears, this year we were definitely liking what we were seeing. She chose a Lanvin jumpsuit that had a long bow in the back. While jumpsuits aren’t always the best choice for this type of award show, this particular one had a silver embellished top while the bottom was black as well as the bow. Her hair and makeup were impeccable bringing the whole look together and worthy of this award show.

gg5Anna Kendrick. The Into The Woods star is pretty much everyone’s girl crush at this point and her dress made everyone love her even more. Kendrick wore a Monique Lhuillier gown in a nude color with magenta accents in a slight ombre effect. The nude colored perfectly complimented her own skin tone making her look that much better.
