Straight from the Tony’s red carpet
The Tony Awards was just in full swing! The star-studded event is the biggest night in theater all year, and this year, the stars didn’t fail to leave people wanting more.
The Tony Awards, in its 72nd year, is a celebration of great theater and all of the supporting actors, actresses, directors, and producers who make the theater the grand spectacle that it is all year. The Tony Awards, named after theater leader Antoinette Perry, honors these great performers and artists, and thousands of celebs and enthusiasts come each year, strutting their stuff on the red carpet, to see their favorite stars receive the coveted Tony Medallion.
This year was no different. Some of the notable red carpet stars included Vanessa Hudgens, James Corden, and Zachary Quinto, just to name a few. Billy Porter stole the show with his stunning gown made from red and pink curtains from the musical, Kinky Boots, which he starred in. Tina Fey wore a beautiful 24 karat gold Thom Browne suit, and Jake Gyllenhaal was looking crisp in a fresh black on black Ermenegildo Zenga XXX suit.
