If you think you’re a traditional bride, then we’re pretty sure you haven’t checked out 2015’s bridal trends. For the upcoming year, designers looked at the biggest fashion trends and even celebrities for bridal inspiration that will have you wanting to get married tomorrow. From crop tops to lace and even 40’s head pieces, there’s a little something for everybody.
Crop tops. Yet another reason to hit the gym if you’re getting married and we’re not mad. Crop tops have been a huge trend and it was only a matter of time until it reached the bridal world. This trend is perfect for the bride that is a true fashionista and doesn’t mind not looking like a “classic” bride on her big day. Designers with crop top gowns: Reem Acra, Delphine Manivet, Carolina Herrera.
Thigh high slits. Move over Angelina Jolie, brides everywhere want their shot at showing some leg. Sexy can easily be overdone but the designers who chose to go for a slit showed us that showing just the right amount of skin can be done tastefully if there’s a balance with the top and bottom. If being a little sexy is something that is a must for your ideal dress, consider this design. Designers that included thigh high slits: Ines Di Santo, Bagdley Mischka, Reem Acra.
Separates. Yet another big fashion trend showed up on the bridal gowns. Matching separates are currently a big trend and just like the crop tops, it’s a pleasant surprise to see. We think Olivia Palermo had something to do with this but we can’t do anything else than love how it looks. This is a trend that definitely is not for every bride but still looks incredibly fashion forward. Designers who included separates: Houghton, Monique Lhuillier, Delphine Manivet.
