The first step to proper skin cleansing is making sure all makeup is removed whether it is with makeup remover or cleansing oil. Next, make sure that the water isn’t too hot or too cold; it has to be warm so it can open up your pores and allow the cleanser to deeply penetrate and clean properly. Being gentle to the skin is key to preventing wrinkles and damage so scrub in circular motions. Lastly, rinse with cool water to close the pores again.

Additionally, a gentle cleanser should be used as washing should be done once or twice a day and preventing the cleanser from stripping the skin of natural oils is important. Stripping the skin of its natural oils can lead to dry skin and wrinkles.
