Everyone loves a good multitasking product because you shoot 2 or more birds with one stone as well shortening time and effort that goes into getting ready. Cheek and lip stains are one of those products that are quick to apply and you can take with you on the go for touch-ups so it’s a must for busy girls. The best part is that pretty much every makeup line makes their own version so they’re also incredibly easy to find.

The only thing we don’t like sometimes about these multitaskers are the price. With Dior’s Cheek & Lip Glow costing almost $40, making it yourself seems a whole lot cheaper. If you’re feeling a little crafty and want your own version of this cheek and lip stain, try this simply DIY.

Here’s what you’ll need:

Coral lipstick (or whatever color you prefer)
½ tsp. of coconut oil
An empty blush pan (or small container)
Primer
A candle
A metal measuring cup

Now follow these steps:

Step 1: Break off the lipstick bullet and place it in the metal measuring cup as well as the coconut oil.

Step 2: Place the metal measuring cup above the lit candle for about 15~20 seconds so it melts. Once it’s melted, take it off the fire and add a pea size amount of primer. Mix well.

Step 3: Pour in to the blush pan and wait 15 minutes.

And there you have it! You’re very own cheek and lip stain. Check out the playlist for the video tutorial on this DIY.
