Getting that beachy, tousled hair during the summer is a must. This can easily be achieved by going to the beach and diving in, if you live near a beach, of course. Unfortunately, that’s not the case for most of us and to get that awesome beachy hair, we have to put in work.

If you’re looking to get your beachy hair on with some sea salt spray and are feeling crafty, try this easy DIY. It takes no time to do and you probably already have most of this ingredients at home.

Here’s what you’ll need:

bottle1 cup warm water
1 tbsp. sea salt
1 tsp. Epsom salt
1 tbsp. coconut oil (you can use half if your hair is oily or fine)
1 tsp. of aloe vera gel
Essential oil (optional)
Spray bottle (new or recycled)

Here’s what you’ll need to do:

Step 1: Combine the water, sea salt, and Epsom salt in a bowl. Stir well until everything is completely dissolved.

Step 2: Add in the coconut oil, aloe vera and mix until it’s dissolved. You can also add a few drops of essential oil if you’d like at this time.

Step 3: Funnel the mixture into the spray bottle and you’re sea salt is done!
