Solid perfume is great for the girl who doesn’t want to smell overbearing but still wants to leave a trace of her pleasant perfume scent. It’s great if you’re always on the go because it’s portable and fits anywhere. The best part about it is that it’s super easy to make and you get to mix all of your favorite essential oils to make your own perfect and unique scent. You’ll need the following items:

1. Bee’s wax
2. Jojoba oil
3. Essential oils of your choice (no maximum or minimum—go wild!)
4. Packaging (a mint or lip balm tin)

Now, the fun part. Follow these steps:

1. Mix your essential oils. There’s no exact number of drops you need from each oil so you’re going to have to smell your mix after every couple of drops to make sure you’re going in the right direction with your scent. If you want a particular oil to stand out more, use it first as a base and then add the other oils. You’ll need about a tablespoon worth of your scent once it’s finished.
2. Melt the bee’s wax with a few drops of Jojoba oil. The amount of bee’s wax that you need is all dependant on the container you’re storing it in so calculate how much will fit properly. You’ll need to do this on a double boiler (check out the video to see how to do it) and once it’s all melted, add the essential oils.
3. Package it. You must work quickly when packaging the perfume because it’s will solidify so use a spoon or a dropper depending on how big your packaging is.

And voila! You now have your very own solid perfume with a unique scent you mad. Enjoy!
