If there’s one thing Dolce & Gabbana does best, it’s put on a show. On Sunday the designers unveiled their newest fall collection “Eleganza” at Milan fashion week and gave the audience an insider’s look at their atelier before the show.

A montage of black and white clips of model fittings were played on a big screen as a form of pre-show entertainment. The clips, which have now been shared on Dolce and Gabbana’s social media, showcase the designers’ impeccable tailoring and give an insight into the energy and emotion of the atelier leading up to a collection’s debut.

In addition to clips, Dolce & Gabbana also had another first on the runway. As reported by Fashionista, the brand had an announcer during the show that narrated the backstory and inspiration for each of the collection’s 11 themes which included gemstones color palettes, leopard prints, pastel pajamas, and their signature pants suits.

Overall the luxury collection contained an overwhelming 127 pieces, including five bridal looks. The final number, a voluminous black tulle ballgown with rose, sequin, and marabou accents along the waistline is destined to become the next great red carpet look. The closing piece was the embodiment of the show and the lavish eclecticism that has always defined Dolce & Gabbana’s style.
