The beautiful Emma Watson is often looked to for her impeccable taste in style and her elegant makeup looks. She stunned us all at the Golden Globes this year sporting a bright red lip and flawless face that we still can’t get over and tody we have a great tutorial that will help you recreat her look thanks to Chanel makeup artist Kate Lee who did Emma’s makeup for the awards.
Follow these easy steps for Emma’s Golden Globes makeup look:
1. Moisturize and apply foundation. Emma’s face looks flawless so be sure to add concealer afterwards on your problem areas.
2. Fill in your eyebrows. Eyebrows set the stage for a perfect eye look so fill in as needed. Powder looks the most natural when it comes to brows.
3. Line thinly close to the root of the lashes. This will create the illusion of fuller eyelashes without having to draw on a cat eye.
4. Apply mascara and falsies. The latter isn’t necessary but do so if you have sparse lashes.
5. Bright red lip. This is the star of the show. Pick a bright red lipstick or pencil like NARS’ “Dragon Girl” pencil, apply a layer and blot it. This will remove any oils and extra pigment and will make the color last longer. Then apply another layer or lip color. To ensure your lip color won’t bleed, apply a lip liner in a similar color.
