One of fashion’s top models at the moment is 24 year old Grace Mahary. This Canadian model has been showing up at just about every major show in the past year or so as well as magazines everywhere. Her major runway walks include: Chanel, Prada, Cushnie et Ochs, to name a few, and on magazine covers like Elle and various features in many others as well. Grace Maharay was born in Canada although her parents hail from Eritrea, a country found in northeastern Africa. As a girl with tall stature (standing at 5’10), she started playing basketball in middle school and did the same in high school. Mahary wanted to be an NBA doctor but was actually scouted while on holiday shopping with her mother in Toronto. From there her career took off and can now be seen only with major design houses.
Grace is one of the “it” girls at the moment so be sure to keep a close eye on her. With names Chanel, Givenchy, and Saint Laurent under her belt and a career that has barely started, you’ll be seeing more of this long legged tomboy model everywhere.
