A common misconception that a lot of girls have when dealing with under eye bags is that you treat them the same as discoloration or dark circles. They usually end up applying concealer all over with no real game plan in place and that just makes the bags show up even more. Bags need to be covered a certain way and we’ve got you covered if you’re not sure how.

Check out how you can conceal your bags best in a few simple steps.

Step 1: Find your right shade. It sounds like an easy enough task but it can be just as hard finding that perfect shade of concealer as it is finding the right foundation. It should be one shade lighter than your skin so that it helps brighten the area.

Step 2: Place the concealer on the right location. When you look at your bags, there’s usually a dark ring right underneath the bag and that’s what you’re aiming for. Identify this location and place small concealer dots starting from the inner corner to about the outer third of the eye.

Step 3: Dab, dab, dab! Gently dab and press the concealer under your eyes. Use your ring finger as it has the lightest touch of them all. Avoid pulling or dragging the area as it’s super delicate and you can cause damage. Be sure to blend out any edges and slightly bring down the product so it looks natural and bright overall.

Step 4: Powder if you need to. Sometimes this area can be oily or the concealer might be too creamy so it moves around. Lightly powder the area to lock everything in place!
