This One Of A Kind Gown Is Bridal Chic
Sophie Turner is no stranger to elaborate costumes. After all, she did play one of the leading characters on Game of Thrones, as well as Dark Phoenix.
The actress recently married Joe Jonas, once in a quick, low-key ceremony in Vegas, and again recently in an over-the-top ceremony in France that held nothing back, including Sophie’s one-of-a-kind Louis Vuitton dress. And we really mean it when we say it’s over the top; it took over 350 hours to make, and it featured additions like “flower-embroidered tulle and silk Gazar that was designed by Nicolas Ghesquière, who is Louis Vuitton’s Artistic Director of Women’s Collections.”
Sophie’s dress really was extra, and we’re loving it. In each panel of the gown, it featured 50,400 crystal eclats and 50,400 white beads. Even her veil took plenty of love, time, and talent to create, taking over 48 hours of embroidery due to the thread being hand-cut between each and every flower.
While her dress may have been quite a big deal, Sophie hoped for a relaxed, low-key ceremony with friends and family.
