J. Lo featured in new Versace SS20 Campaign

The J. Lo train of hotness is not slowing down one bit and with 2019 being one of her most fruitful and scorching years both personally and professionally, 2020 is already giving it a run for its money.

Her career-defining turn in “Hustlers” has earned her a bevy of awards already and she continues to be recognized for her work by peers and industry shaker-uppers.

Who could neglect the 50-year-old’s internet-breaking appearance, as she closed the Versace Milan Fashion Week show back in September, wearing an iteration of the iconic jungle print dress that made history 20 years prior? The dress was not only the reason Google images were invented but arguably, carved Lopez’ name into the fashion icon bible, to which she has continued to contribute ever since.

Not to mention the fact that her physique has never inspired more “ooohs” and “ahhhhs” as she is redefining aging by proving that it definitely is nothing but a number. In fact, she seems to be doing it backward.

The superstar’s ad campaign with the Italian fashion luxury giant comes as both a (very pleasant!) surprise but also, as good a fit as ever. Lopez and Donatella Versace are longtime friends and collaborators and the timing, naturally, could not be more appropriate.

“I am so excited I can finally reveal that I am the face of the #VersaceSS20 campaign! Thank you to @Donatella_Versace and everyone at @Versace for your vision and collaboration,” Lopez wrote on her Instagram, as she revealed some of the stunning photos from the campaign.

“The Versace SS20 campaign imagery depicts vanity and uncensored expression as a form of self-love,” the brand noted on their Instagram. “It is a provocation on the power of the internet and its vessels for voyeurism.”

Photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, the jaw-dropping, seductive set displays imagery that “explores the blurring of lines between public and private life in today’s internet society,” according to the fashion house.

One thing that will surely not be blurred is our vision, as we firmly focus on this delicious dish of fashion delicacy at its finest.
