The Tony’s is the magical night a year when theatre and music meet for a night of celebrating artists from the big screen and Broadway. Many starts walked the red carpet to strut their stuff, with a majority of the cast of the new Broadway hit show “Mean Girls” stealing all the attention.

Writer and Tony nominee for “Mean Girls” Tina Fey walked the red carpet in a long silver dress, with cap sleeves and a collar. Her dress also featured loose ostrich feathers on the bottom of the dress acting as a small train, a custom design by Thom Browne and wearing Cartier jewelry. She was accompanied by her husband Jeff Richmond who was wearing a custom Lutwyche suit.

Nominee for Featured Actress in a Musical for “Mean Girls” Ashley Park was wearing a flowing gown in plum by designer Pamella Roland. The stunning design also featured a beaded-embellishment on the front, with minimal jewelry.

Taylor Louderman channeled her “Mean Girls” character Regina George with a form-fitting, floor-length dress that uses color blocking with white, orange, and pink. The tank-style dress by designer Christian Siriano also featured a make-shift train with a long orange scarf, mimicking a cape.

Kerry Washington wore a silver full-length jumpsuit with a train, designed by the Versace Atelier and wearing jewelry by Ofira Jewels. The jumpsuit also featured a cut-out back and Washington wore minimal jewelry with matching silver-strap heels.

Actress Claire Danes wore an interesting choice full-length gown with a metallic cheetah-print and ruffles. She was rocking her baby bump with in her Valentino Pre-Fall 2018 gown and her husband accompanied her.

Carey Mulligan walked the red carpet in a full-length dress featuring a pink metallic fabric with a sunflower print designed by Giambattista Valli.

Josh Groban took a daring risk with his outfit choice, a purple Gucci suit with a silver bow tie and matching pocket square. The choice in color was bold, but suited Groban well.

Though “Mean Girls” didn’t receive any Tony awards, this is their first year running production so hopefully they will receive recognition at the next Tony Awards. Check out the video above for all the red carpet fashion at the 2018 Tony Awards.
