While she rocked the look effortlessly, she received some major backlash. Because the dress was off the shoulder, people deemed the dress as ‘inappropriate.’ Needless to say Meghan’s look was classy and weather-appropriate, but haters still found something to hate about.
It is said that the traditional royal fashion dictates that women do not wear off the shoulder pieces or anything else that is slightly revealing. That being said, even Kate Middleton has broken this antiquated rule.
