Renowned singer Rihanna is potentially making history with her upcoming partnership with Louis Vuitton parent owner LVMH to create a new fashion label, as the first fashion brand to be launched from scratch by the luxury fashion house since 1987. Additionally, she will also reportedly be the first designer of color at LVMH.

LVMH, first established 32 years ago in France, also owns other luxury brands, including Givenchy and Christian Dior.

Currently, there are no official news reports regarding the upcoming partnership, but there are some clues going around social media. One of them is when Rihanna was shown wearing Fenty sunglasses, another company under the LVMH conglomerate. Some fans speculate that this could be Rihanna hinting at another partnership.

As for Rihanna, it’s not the first time that the singer is venturing into this kind of partnership. She already has her own line of beauty products and her own line of lingerie. When it comes to her fashion, she’s always on point, leading the latest trends and styles in the fashion world.

According to some reports, LVMH is already gathering Rihanna’s future employees, picking out some of their own people from established brands like Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs, and Celine. LVMH also owns Bulgari and TAG Heure, among others.
