Stitch Fix Offers Something The Competition Is Lacking

In the day and age of subscription boxes galore and highly curated closets came a company called Stitch Fix. Founded in 2011, this company–which provides online personal styling for shoppers–went public in 2017 and is now valued at over two billion dollars.

While it began with styling only women’s clothes, it has since expanded to include men’s and children’s, as well as plus size and maternity wear. As Stitch Fix continues its rapid growth, it subsequently has new opportunities, new competition, and new locations to be styling with the service that made them so popular.

They added in items like shoes and transitional pieces for women going through motherhood. Their next location addition will be in the UK where they will likely provide the same services shared with U.S. Stitch Fix members.

Some additional notable subscription boxes include Nordstrom’s Trunk Club and Fabletics, though there are now also subscription boxes for items like shaving kits, makeup, kid and baby needs, and more. Through services like these and megastores such as Amazon, Stitch Fix finds an advantage in their talented stylists and choices for those who aren’t sure what they want.
