For the upcoming Spring 2015 makeup, the natural look will be everything. Many designers had their models wearing little to no makeup, like Stella McCartney. The makeup artist behind the look, Pat McGrath, really wanted to showcase beautiful, youthful skin which made for a beautiful dewy and flushed look that looked stunning on the models.

To get the Stella McCartney makeup look from the Spring 2015 runway, try out this tutorial.

Skin. Start off with very well moisturized skin. The models’ skin looked almost drenched in a moisturizing cream so don’t be shy about applying moisturizer.

Foundation. The models looked like they were wearing no foundation but we know that’s not the case. Use a dewy finish foundation that matches your skin well and apply it with a beauty blender to really blend out any traces of foundation.

Eyes. Pat used powder blush as eye shadow all over the lid. You can do the same with your favorite natural colored blush or use an eye shadow that closely resembles your blush color. She also used the same powder blush on the lips but applied some clear gloss to make it look natural. For eyelashes, she used brown mascara but only used it on the roots to make the lashes look plentiful.

Cheeks. For highlighter, just use a bit of your favorite face cream or oil and dab it on the cheekbones. Avoid using highlighter that has obvious shimmers as it takes away from the very naturally dewy look Stella was going for. As for blush, dab the tiniest bit of cream blusher on the apples of the cheeks and make sure to blend out and edges with your fingers.
