Fall is finally here and with it comes great style and trends. If you didn’t have a chance to watch all of the runway shows, we’ve rounded out the Top 5 trends that will have you in the loop all fall and winter long.
Shearling coats. The runways were dominated by shearling making it one of the biggest trend for the cooler months. Tom Ford, Prada, BCBG were among the designers that included this trend. Because shearling can cost you a pretty penny, go for faux instead.
Sneakers. Finally, your feet can rejoice! Sneakers were also seen many times on the runway as well as on the streets of fashionable cities. It’s completely obvious by now that sneakers are the “it” shoe of the moment and designers are embracing it. Designers who showcased sneakers include: Chanel, DKNY, and Marc Jacobs.
Oversized knits. We know: oversized knits are not new to fall. But this time it’s different. Designers like Mary Kate and Ashley from The Row had their models wear larger than life knits that completely hid any form of silhouette. This trend is perfect for the months when you want to hide a few extra pounds.
Western. If you’re a fan of anything country, the western trend for this fall is right up your alley. Designers like Cushnie et Ochs and Concept Korea included lots of wide brimmed country hats and fringe that had everyone wanting to go to a ranch ASAP.
Cape coats and ponchos. Last but not least are the most convenient trends ever. Every fashion girl out there went crazy when Burberry had Cara Delevingne come out in a monogrammed cape coat. It was stylish, looked incredibly comfortable, and it was monogrammed. It’s the perfect coat when you want to look chic and are quite ready to commit to a winter coat just yet.
