June is the magical month somewhere over the rainbow, Gay Pride. Under Armour is joining in the celebration by donating rainbow sneakers for volunteers for Baltimore Pride.

Under Armour is based out of Baltimore and wanted to show their appreciation to the LGBTQ community by donating special sneakers for parade volunteers. The athletic wear company is a gold level sponsor of the parade, providing their Pride edition HOVR Sonic running shoes. UA donated $10,000 to the pride event by the LGBT Community Center of Baltimore and Central Maryland.

The light-weight running shoe is black with a rainbow sole, providing comfort with pride for volunteers. The collection launched June 4 with UA partnering with Athlete Alley, a nonprofit group raising awareness for homophobia and transphobia in the athletic community.

The 10-block parade will span over Saturday and Sunday of this weekend throughout Maryland, with UA providing rainbow lighting with their sign at their Locust Point headquarters. The Pride parade starts at North Charles Street from 33rd Street to 23 Street starting at 1 p.m. and ending at 3 p.m. There will be a block party on Saturday in Station North starting at 4 p.m. and a festival on Sunday at Druid Hill Park.

If your not from the Baltimore area to volunteer, UA is offering the Pride edition shoes on their website with the net proceeds benefiting Athlete Alley. Check out the video above for more Pride parade styles.
