Whoopi Goldberg Entering The Fashion Industry
For as long as most of us can remember, Whoopi Goldberg has been a popular household name. She has taken on numerous successful roles, from actor to comedian to author to television personality.
She has acquired 13 Emmys, and she is one of only a handful of entertainers who have won an Emmy Award, a Grammy Award, an Academy Award, and a Tony Award. Additionally, she was the second-ever woman of color to win an Academy Award for an acting role.
It was recently announced that Whoopi Goldberg will be announcing a new plus-size fashion line. Her fashion sense has long been viewed as eclectic, with quirky sweatshirts and clothes that perfectly capture her exciting personality.
Her newly announced line is going to be called Dugbee. It aims to be a contemporary fashion line that will feature graphic separates, tunics, and dresses.
As a creative vision for this brand, Whoopi takes her job “very seriously” because she knows fashion is a form of creative expression. She never wants anyone looking to get dressed in one of her styles to fret about what they get to choose from their closet.
