Calling all jewelry and accessory lovers! If you love crystals and doing DIY’s, we’ve got just the project for you. A few seasons ago Chanel had a crystal theme on the runways and was just so stunning that when we stumbled on the pictures of it, we had to incorporate it in a DIY somehow and a barrete seemed like the most unique and easy way to do so. It’s also unique so you know you’ll be the only one wearing it.
To make your own crystal barrette you’ll need the following items:
1. Holographic fabric
2. Plain barrettes
3. Small stick crystals. They should all be the same size and colors that look well together.
4. Hot glue gun.
All you’ll need to do is outline the barrette on the holographic fabric and glue that frabric on to the top of the barrette. Then, glue the crystals in whichever order you’d like to the barrette. It’s that simple. Who knew recreating high fashion could be that easy?
