Setting sprays are a life saver and most of us rely on them heavily on keeping makeup in place for the day. They’re especially helpful if you’re not a big fan of primers and they’re incredibly easy to use. The only down side to them is that sometimes they contain ingredients that can be damaging to the skin like parabens, alcohol, perfume, etc. so finding one with minimal ingredients but good staying power is difficult.

The main ingredient in almost all good setting sprays is glycerin so if you can get a hold of vegetable glycerin, you already have half of the natural ingredients you need. It’s pretty easy to make your own natural setting spray and we’re going to show you how.

What you’ll need:

ThayersBottled water
Thayer’s Alcohol-Free Rose Petal Witch Hazel Toner (it contains vegetable glycerin along with all-natural ingredients)
A small spray bottle

Now for the steps:

Step 1: Fill the bottle with 1/3 of the Thayer’s toner.

Step 2: Fill the rest with bottled water.

Step 3: Shake, shake, shake!

And that’s it! The Thayer’s toner contains vegetable glycerin, witch hazel, aloe, rose water, and other natural ingredients that will help provide moisture while keeping your makeup in place all day long. Don’t fret if you don’t have this toner because you can replace the toner with vegetable glycerin and get the same results.
