J. Lo came a long way from the block
Jennifer Lopez has been a shining star in the long list of celebrities who have worked in fashion, modeling, dance, music, and acting, among others. While she is known for her popular music and beautiful looks, one of the industries she is most known for is fashion.
Jennifer recently received the Council of Fashion Designers of America’s icon award for her incredible style. She has long seen Madonna and Janet Jackson as icons, and it paid off. She prefers a sexy, modern, feminine look that she has become known for, competing with the likes of her icons themselves as someone especially well known for their fashion sense.
Her celebrity style began with her debut as a fly girl on “In Living Color.” She followed it up by appearing on the red carpet for her role in the film “Selena,” wearing a Badgley Mischka dress to the Oscars.
Later, she was seen styled in Old Hollywood looks on three separate occasions. Her love of fashion is such that she launched her own lifestyle brand, J.Lo by Jennifer Lopez, which aimed to be sexy street glam.
