Unless you were blessed with Karlie Kloss’s statuesque height, jeans hardly ever fit you exactly the way you wish they would. While they fit perfectly around the waist and derriere, the length is slightly longer than you would prefer. And when your jeans are long you end up doing that under-tuck that makes your ankles look extra skinny. Not a good look.

If you want an alternative way to fix the problem without having to do any real folding or tucking, try out this easy breezy tutorial.
cuffjeansStep 1: Put your jeans on as you normally would and stand in front of mirror.

Step 2: Identify the area where your jeans usually bunch or crease. It should be the knee area as you tend to move or bend down and the material creates a bunch here.

Step 3: Here comes the fun part: grab hold of a bit of fabric right below your knees and pull up a bit. You want the extra fabric to bunch up in the knee area and blend in with the bunching up that is already occurring there anyway.

Step 4: Move around the fabric a bit to make it look like it occurred naturally. You can even make a few movements like knee raises to get everything into place.

It’s important to remember that this style tip works best with dark jeans. Darker colors like black and dark navy blue are perfect for camouflaging because the folds aren’t that visible. You won’t have the same luck with lighter wash denim as the creases will be visible.
