Serena Williams does it all; she kills it on the court and stuns on magazine covers. She is in amazing shape, and has earned wild success in her life. Now, the 36-year-old phenom is a new wife and mother…and she appears to be scoring well at that, too.
Williams and her new baby girl graced Vogue’s February cover, and both were all smiles. Serena looks better than ever, and her baby is simply adorable. The article details Williams’ desire for a major comeback. Of course the article gets into her love of motherhood, too. It seems she had a lot of dreams, that weren’t necessarily sports related, before tennis took over her life. As she is quoted in Vogue’s article:
“We’re not spending a day apart until she’s eighteen,” Serena says, only half-joking. “Now that I’m 36 and I look at my baby, I remember that this was also one of my goals when I was little, before tennis took over, when I was still kind of a normal girl who played with dolls. As for her tennis career, Serena isn’t ready to give it all up just yet. She has her sights set on 25 Grand Slam titles, and to regain her ranking as No. 1.
