Priyanka Chopra Expressing Herself Through He Style
In 2000, Priyanka Chopra became a household name when she was crowned at the Miss World pageant. Following her stint in pageantry, she went on to hold many more titles – actress, model, singer, film producer, and now wife to Nick Jonas of The Jonas Brothers.
While she is known for much of what is seen in the public eye, her love of fashion may not be as vocal as many other interesting things about Chopra. At the 2019 Met Gala, Chopra attended with her husband, Nick Jonas, dressed in a gown inspired by 80s fashion and TV shows.
Her custom Christian Dior caged dress drew in much praise, featuring a cascading rainbow featured skirt and cape, complete with a crown and a makeup look similarly themed to the rest of her ensemble. In addition to the other notable parts of her gown, Chopra also displayed individual hand-cut feathers as part of the floor-length gown.
Her gown was meant to be over the top and memorable while she walked the unique pink carpet. She also had a goal of looking as chic as ever, and we would say that she was successful.
