Music, Makeup, And Now Fashion
Rihanna has long been known for many things: her popular makeup line, strong fashion sense, well-known music, and even her relationship with Drake. While we haven’t seen any new music come from the artist recently, it was announced that she will be releasing a new luxury clothing line this spring.
Rihanna’s upcoming fashion line will be known as Fenty and will be a collaboration with LVMH. While this is a new venture for her, the line will be an addition to the other brands that she is the face of and the brains behind: Fenty Beauty and Savage x Fenty.
She has noted that creating this line is an “incredibly special moment,” stating that Bernard Arnault is providing her with the unique opportunity that is the chance to “develop a fashion house in the luxury sector, with no artistic limits.”
This line will mark the first of many things for LVMH: the first woman to create an individual brand under the LVMH name, the first woman of color to do so with their brand, and it will also be the first new house developed by the group since 1987.
