“Gossip Girl” style inspiration thorugh accessories
The original cast of “Gossip Girl” created a large pair of stylish shoes to fill for the new reboot cast and living up to the attained fashion status of the show. Though “Gossip Girl” fans will have to wait until 2021 to watch the rebooted show, the new cast is already providing handbag inspiration for upgraded accessories.
The “Gossip Girl” reboot was scheduled for a 2020 debut but the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic delayed production and the release date to 2021. A couple of teaser photos from production were released along with some of the featured handbag styles inspired by a combination of traditional and modern trends to combine both generations of “Gossip Girl.”

The wardrobe of this show has amassed a collection of designer brands including Bulgari, Jimmy Choo, Louis Vuitton, Yves Saint Laurent, and more. “Gossip Girl” favored Bulgari featuring multiple styles of its popular Serpenti Forever crossbody bags.
A majority of the bags are smaller in size but function for a gal on-the-go including a smaller version of a monogrammed Louis Vuitton Papillon duffle and Gucci 1955 GG-jacquard horsebit tote. “Gossip Girl” is also all about the clutch featuring an Uptown clutch by Yves Saint Laurent, Cartier Guirlande, and a moon mock-crocodile Rantan bag by JW Pei.
“Gossip Girl” loves some glitter with some sparkling pieces including a Candy crossbody by Jimmy Choo and styles from Judith Leiber. The Fendi Baguette was featured on the original “Gossip Girl” show in the early 2000s but will be making a comeback for the reboot in 2021.
