Songbird Selena Gomez is moving into the beauty community

It has recently been announced that Selena Gomez, everyone’s favorite Disney-star-turned-superstar, will be releasing her own beauty line, coming after the likes of beauty mogul Kylie Jenner, Lady Gaga’s new Haus Labs, and all other celebrity-owned beauty lines.

Selena, who was previously the most followed person on Instagram, has quite the fan following, so it’s safe to say that whatever type of beauty line she ends up launching, it will be highly sought after. And while we don’t know for sure what she will be released, here is what we know so far:

According to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, a trademark was filed by Gomez’s production company, July Moon Productions, on July 11, 2019. The trademark was filed under her name, Selena Gomez, and included products like fragrances, cosmetics, skin-care preparations, hair-care preparations, soaps, moisturizers and essential oils (other products may also be included). While she has collaborated with fashion brands like Coach and Puma and once released her own clothing line (Dream Out Loud, which was available at Kmart in 2010 and expected to make $100 million its first year), this will be her first venture into the beauty world.
