Fashion designer Betsey Johnson is known for her unique designs and use of popping colors. She gives a tour of her backyard that emulates her eccentric style and the basis for the inspiration for her collection.

In an exclusive tour Johnson shows off the backyard of her chic Hollywood home that features a lot of pink for starters. The inspiration for the style of her backyard decor from Indonesia and Tahiti incorporating traditional paper umbrellas and lanterns.

The style theme is bohemian featuring natural elements like pink ceramics and a wooden lamp shade. Johnson also wanted to draw inspiration from her favorite hotel, The Beverly Hills Hotel, featuring a similar print on her outdoor furniture with a green palm leaf print.

One of the main influences she draws from her backyard s in her floral prints that resembles the flowers that she has in her backyard including roses and daisies. Another section of her backyard features a sitting area with Western theme including artifacts from Mexican and Native American culture, not to mention this her favorite spot in her backyard.

Another unique part of her backyard is the bathtub area that features an actual functioning bathtub. Johnson says she only takes baths and that the bathtub was actually in the house when she moved in so she decided to keep it.

This isn’t the only property Johnson is offering a peek into, she listed her Mexican villa to rent on Airbnb. Johnson’s Mexican villa offers interior decoration including popping colors and printed wall paper that matches prints used for her fashion line.
