Gucci staff model the 2021 Cruise collection
With more fashion functions being limited or canceled, many in the fashion industry are finding solutions to problems surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Gucci decided to mix things up revealing their latest collection with the help of the luxury brand’s employees.
Since the COVID-19 pandemic began Gucci’s creative director, Alessandro Michele, rethink the traditional fashion calendar and downsizing regular presentations for only twice per year. Michele decided to create a unique experience for the Cruise 2021 collection with a 12-hour live stream, “Epilogue,” featuring the campaign photoshoot from the Palazzo Sacchetti in Rome featuring Gucci designers as models.
Tune in for #GucciEpilogue by #AlessandroMichele. https://t.co/AdRA5V6v8y

Michele turned his own team into his next campaign models for a unique experience where designers model their own styles. Gucci also features other team members including its casting assistant, beauty product specialists, and fabric researchers.
The campaign will also feature the names and roles of each Gucci employee featured in the new Cruise 2021 styles that scream summer. You can watch the “Epilogue” campaign livestream video for more.
