One Of The Most Over-The-Top Launch Parties
For everyone who has been following the drama surrounding James Charles’ last few weeks, you were probably pretty shocked to hear that he was at Kylie Jenner’s Kylie Skin launch party, and he seemed to be having a pretty great time.
The drama surrounding Charles lately stems from a video posted by fellow YouTuber Tati Westbrook. After he acted as the spokesperson for Sugarbear Hair–a competitor of Tati’s business–on an Instagram post, she appeared to be hurt and released a video tearing down James.
She “exposed” inappropriate sexual behavior and from there the rivalry affected sponsorships, reputations, and careers. Additionally, James lost over two million subscribers. Some of them were accounts of very famous faces, like Kylie Jenner.
So when James showed up at the launch party for Kylie Jenner’s new skincare line and subsequently shared photos of he and Kylie, with a caption that simply called them “sisters,” people were pretty surprised. However, it turns out there was never any bad blood between him and Kylie in the first place. In a recently released video, he mentions that she never followed him in the first place.
