Jeffree Star Unveils New Blood Lust Eye Shadow Palette Collection

Jeffree Star Cosmetics channel royalty through new purple collection

Jeffree Star Cosmetics has worked their magic once again for the new eye shadow palette collection, Blood Lust. The new palette pays homage to purple, combining the previous palette theme colors of red from the Blood Sugar palette and blue from the Blue Blood palette.

Being the first launch by JSC for 2020 it’s sure to sell out in seconds so we give you all the juicy details and pieces of the new collection. Some critics of the new 18 shade palette are throwing shade over the limited purple shadow options but Jeffree says he wanted the palette to also feature more complementary colors for a more versatile and wearable palette.

In true JSC form, they won’t just be offering a palette but a whole collection of purple products including more purple makeup and merch. JSC will also be offering a new edition of the Extreme Frost highlighter in a new color since the first launch last November.

Jeffree broke the beauty community offering one of the most expensive highlighters on the market being the Extreme Frost for $50 and had yet to re-stock since the November launch. A lot of shade was thrown over the price of the product but Jeffree goes onto explain it was an expensive product to manufacture and that the product payout is worth every penny. The launch of the Extreme Frost broke records time selling out of every shade of the new highlighter within minutes and the beauty community is calling for more.

The original Extreme Frost came in several color shifts including blue, pink, green, and gold. Obviously the new Extreme Frost shade is featured in a new purple shade called Choking On Ice which will be featured in all purple packaging.

JSC is also bringing some new shades of The Gloss lip gloss in colors including Iridescent Throne, Lord Star, Sickening, Sorcery, and Wizards Glass. These new gloss shades will also be offered in an exclusive purple packaging staying on brand with the purple theme of the Blood Lust collection.

If you watched the Shane Dawson YouTube series with Jeffree Star then you already may have seen a sneak peek of the Velour Liquid Lipstick bundle but said bundle will be apart of the new Blood Lust collection. The bundle will offer shades including I’m Royalty, Scorpio, Virginity, Blow Pony, Clout, and Berries On Ice along with two new bundle-exclusive metallic shades including Royal Armour (metallic icy lavender shade) and I’m Vulgar (fuschia chrome shade).

For Jeffree Star merch fans who love purple, this launch is made for you. The iconic JSC hand mirror is taking form in a new shape with the collection-exclusive logo in purple along with the iconic star hand mirrors in matte lavender and purple glitter.

For the accessory line, JSC will be offering purple products including a four-pack metal straws, a crossbody bag with the embossed JSC logo, a zip-up windbreaker jacket, dad hats in two shade of purple, and a new bomber jacket which for the first time will come with a pink JSC hanger ready for your closet. Jeffree also hinted that JSC will be expanding into doing more luxury merch items with the bomber jacket being the first of the main collection.

The collection is set for release on February 21 at 10 a.m. PST or 1 p.m. EST that will, of course, be available on JeffreeStarCosmetics.com and official retailers.
