They’re bringing back a favorite from the first collection
The Tejano singer turned multi-talented mogul will be celebrated by M.A.C. Cosmetics for the 25-year memorial during her birthday month in April. This isn’t the first time M.A.C. is celebrating the late artist, with their first memorial Selena collection launching nearly four years ago.
The initial collection launched with several Selena-inspired products including lipstick, eyeshadow, and beauty tools with this collection selling out quickly. The initial collection was created in response to the huge fan demand.
Selena’s sister, Suzette Quintanilla, worked with M.A.C. in the prior collection and knew she wanted to work with them again for the new collection. Though M.A.C. has yet to reveal all the details about the new collection, they’ve confirmed they will be bringing back the ever-popular Bidi Bidi Bom Bom Lipglass gloss.
The gloss shade is a bubblegum pink with notes of silver that can be applied on its own or on top of your favorite lipstick. M.A.C. isn’t the only one to celebrate the late Mexican-American artist.
Netflix is also working on a series about Selena played by singer and actress Christian Serratos. They released a teaser trailer back in November and says the series is coming some time this year.
