Duchess Of Sussex Acknowledged For Keen Fashion-Sense
Meghan Markle’s fame may now be associated with her newest role in the royal family, but she’s also no stranger to the entertainment and fashion industries. The experience she carries from red carpets and now royal appearances have given her plenty of opportunities to flex her fashion muscles, and the practice has definitely paid off.
It was recently announced that The Duchess of Sussex was being nominated for the International Fashion Icon Award at the World Fashion Awards. Since 1989, this award ceremony has been held annually in the United Kingdom to honor the top names and faces in the fashion industry. And we are not in the slightest bit surprised Meghan has made this list. After all, she’s frequently in the company of another fashionable royal, Kate Middleton.
Others nominated this year for the International Fashion Icon Award are a familiar group. Nominees include Naomi Campbell, Rihanna, Dame Vivienne Westwood, Kim Kardashian West, Victoria Beckham, Jennifer Lopez, Priyanka Chopra, and last but not least, Meghan Markle. Regardless of who wins, we think each of these fashion icons has a good reason for being nominated.
