The annual Met Gala 2014 was held last night in New York City as was filled with A-List stars. It seemed like it was more star-studded than ever and this fashion filled night did not disappoint—well, save for some. From gowns, to pants, and crop tops, see what your favorite celebrities wore to the Met Gala 2014.

BEST DRESSED

MBBlake

Blake Lively in Gucci. Blake usually never disappoints and this night was no exception. She wore a form-fitting nude Gucci dress that hugged her curves in the right places. Her best accessory was definitely Ryan Reynolds.

Cara Delevingne. Girls wear the pants nowadays and Cara wore them right. She wore an ensemble, by Stella McCartney, that consisted of a black top with cut-offs and white trousers that made her look just as feminine as if she had worn a down. Well done, Cara.

Rihanna. Bad girl Riri wore a white Stella McCartney dress that showed her midriff and her backside. This is one of the best looks we’ve seen Rihanna in as she’s known for not being so “modest” for the most part. Although she went braless, she still managed to look elegant and really impressed us all.

MBJoan

Joan Smalls. The stunning model wore a Vera Wang dress and had the designer as her date as well. The dress was a mermaid style dress that was formfitting on the upper half and had a sheer train on the bottom half. Her hair was simply styled in a fishtail side braid and added a pop of color with a purple pout.

MBRosie

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. Rosie wore a short Balmain leather dress that had somewhat of a Roman soldier feel to it—in a good way. The dress was adorned with gold, leather, and leopard print and complimented her natural skin tone beautifully.

WORST DRESSED

MBKate

Kate Upton. We’re not sure where to start with the beautiful super model this time. Although she just graced the cover of UK Vogue, it sure didn’t seem like it. She wore an off the shoulder, black mermaid dress and black head crown that didn’t suit her at all. The ruffles made her look extra curvy and the head piece was unnecessary.

Kirsten Dunst. Kirsten isn’t usually on the best dressed and this time was no exception. She wore a Rodarte long dress that looked like the night time sky except not as beautiful. Out of all the dresses, this was definitely the most confusing one to stare at. Her makeup didn’t help as she had a strong red lip and dark eyes—big beauty no-no’s.

Maggie Gyllenhaal. Everyone loves Maggie and it breaks our hearts to talk bad about what she wore but it needs to be done. She wore a Valentino dress that looked like it came straight out of the 70’s with big red, green, and brown dots everywhere. Her overly blushed cheeks looked like they came right off of her dress which just added bad points to the whole ensemble.

MBLena

Lena Dunham. Lena wasn’t actually horribly dressed as she wore a beautiful short Giambattista Valli dress and heels that complimented the dress nicely. What got her on this list was her hair and makeup; her was incredibly flat and her makeup was done poorly. Had she made more of an effort she may have saved herself from the list. Better luck next time, Lena.
