Long time friends collaborate for new collection
The creative director of Moschino, Jeremy Scott, is known for his punk esthetic and edgy sense of style so it seemed natural to work with Lev Tanju of Palace Skateboards for a new collaboration collection. Though the collaboration is new, the relationship between the two designers started five years ago after meeting through a mutual friend.

They agree that they automatically got along and after years of knowing each other the Palace x Moschino collaboration was created. The collection features a unique collection featuring shearling jackets, printed shirts, and a leather milk carton shoulder handbag.

Tanju worked closely with Scott to create a collection that was truly inspired by the Moschino esthetic, offering Tanju’s team a majority of creative control. Scott revealed that he decided to sit back and let Tanju create a collection with the Palace Skateboards style influenced by Scott’s sense of style.

Scott says the final product of the collab collection is heavily influenced by the 1990s British rave and dance party culture with a nod to Moschino Jeans. The collection features a variety of prints with text that literally scream Moschino.
