These Celebrities Are Unwelcome To The Met Gala

Hollywood is fraught full of red carpet events. But some say the “Party of The Year” is on the East Coast. Yes, we are talking about the annual Met Gala.

Every year, hundreds of ball-gowned and black tied celebs flock to New York City to support the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute in what is unofficially dubbed “the Oscars of the East Coast”. The event marks the opening of the Costume Institute’s annual fashion exhibit and never fails to inspire the trends of the new year.

But don’t get caught throwing shade at the event. Rumor has it, it will lead to being banned from the Gala and a few celebs have learned this the hard way. Celebs like Tina Fey and Demi Lovato were overheard openly belittling and criticizing the event and were reportedly not invited back by Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour. All hope is not lost, however, as Gwyneth Paltrow managed to recover from the banned list and return in stunning form.

After all, it is an honor to be apart of the Gala. The Gala continues to be the pinnacle of fashion and one of the most influential nights of the year.
