#McQueenCreators are challenged with embroidery and sketches

Alexander McQueen started the #McQueenCreators challenge a couple of weeks ago to give people who are staying home in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) quarantine through mini fashion challenges on social media. The latest challenges have fashionistas celebrating silhouettes and embroidery.

On April 23 McQueen assigned the creators a new challenge to draw silhouettes of the SS20 womenswear and AW20 menswear collection using a sketchbook of chose materials. They also feature a video with renowned artist, Howard Tangye, sharing his techniques on creating inspiring sketches for McQueen.

The latest challenge is to explore your creativity through embroidery by recreating the embroidered bees featured on the bee dress from the Summer/Spring 2013 ready-to-wear collection until May 5.

They also feature a video to help creators get inspired for this challenge.
