Just like your face, your hair needs some TLC as well. If you’re anything like us, you spend hours on your face a week applying a face mask to have great skin, but, what about your hair? It also needs a moisture or shine pick-me-up to look and feel happy and healthy.
If you’re looking to for a new hair mask to try out but not sure which one to choose, here are a few of our favorites:
PHYTO Phytocitrus Color Protect Radiance Mask, $14-$39. This mask is perfect for those of you with color-treated hair. It makes your hair vibrant and provides outstanding shine that makes the color look like it was newly done. It’s also very moisturizing so it helps your hair to look healthier.
It’s a 10 Miracle Hair Mask, $29.99. If you’ve tried any of the other It’s a 10 products, this one does not disappoint: it delivers intense moisture to the hair without weighing it down. Great for all hair types but works best on finer hair.
Etude House Silk Scarf Treatment, $13.99. We’re big fans of pretty much anything beauty from Korea and this mask isn’t the exception. It smells A-MAZING and really does make your hair feel incredibly soft. It’s not super intense but gets the work done so if you have thick or ethnic hair, you’re going to want to follow up with something else if you do try it.
Shiseido Tsubaki Shining Hair Mask with Tsubaki Oil EX, $18.98. This is the best mask if you’re looking to give some shine to your hair. It’s made with Tsubaki oil to help with moisture as well as shine and is great with frizz as well. The Tsubaki line is a best-seller in Japan and worth trying out.
SheaMoisture Raw Shea Butter Deep Treatment Masque, $11.99. Girls with thick or ethnic hair know the struggle of keeping their hair hydrated and taming frizz. It can be a real pain especially during the warmer months when there’s lots of moisture in the air. This mask is deeply hydrating as it has raw shea butter so it does wonders for dry hair as well as over-processed hair.
