Fashionable awards show from home

The 78th annual Golden Globe Awards featured a new hosting format with a majority of celebrities celebrating from the safety of their homes but they didn’t hesitate on making a fashion statement. Despite not being on the red carpet these celebrities wore designs rights off the runway for the first big night of the awards season.

Anya Taylor-Joy celebrated her two Golden Globe nominations and win for Best Performance by an Actress in a Limited Series wearing a custom Dior Haute Couture with Tiffany & Co. jewelry. Taylor-Joy wore a sparkling green custom Dior Haute Couture gown featuring the trademark French feminine tailoring with a matching overcoat in the same color that blends seamlessly to transform the gown.

Taylor-Joy is known for her red hair while playing the leading role in “The Queen’s Gambit” but she decided to style her hair with long platinum blonde locks. Taylor-Joy’s ensemble was completed with a touch of sparkle with approximately $1 million worth of fine jewelry from Tiffany & Co.

Elle Fanning was nominated for her leading role in the Hulu series “The Great” and her outfit could best be defined as the great fashion statement. Fanning wore a silky Gucci floor-length flowing icy blue dress inspired by the style of Old Hollywood finishing the outfit with a touch of sparkle with Fred Leighton jewelry.

Regina King celebrated her nomination for Best Director for the Amazon movie “One Night In Miami” wearing a form-fitting Louis Vuitton gown. The Louis Vuitton gown is a unique optical illusion with an all-black base gown with a sparkling silhouette featured on the front that flatters the figure.

Maria Bakalova better-known as the breakout star nominated for her role of Tuta in “Borat Subsequent Movie Film” celebrated her nomination wearing a flowing red gown. The sparkling strapless red gown from the spring/summer 2021 collection of Armani Privé with a simple sparkling choker necklace and a simple bun hairdo.
