It’s a well-known fact that Lady Gaga’s dedication to her unique fashion is more than impressive.

True to her usual self, the award-winning singer, songwriter, and actress dyed her hair powdery blue for the 2019 Golden Globes to match her equally blue Cinderella-inspired Valentino couture gown, complete with the puffy shoulder sleeves and massive ballgown. The train was so long and heavy that she actually needed to have two people assisting her as she walked on the red carpet for her grand entrance.

The Mother Monster also had on an elegant bejeweled necklace from American jewelry designer Tiffany & Co. as well as a pair of platform heels from none other than Italian luxury footwear designer Giuseppe Zanotti.

Lady Gaga purposely donned the dress as a tribute to Judy Garland, the lead actress for the original A Star Is Born in 1954. Aside from the 2018 version’s five nominations for the Golden Globes, Gaga also has her own nomination for Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama.

In 2016, Gaga won the Golden Globe Award for Best Performance by an Actress for a Limited Series in a Motion Picture, thanks to her role as Elizabeth in the fifth season of the hit horror anthology series, American Horror Story.
