Elle Fanning Fainted On The Cannes Dinner Party
Elle Fanning had quite the eventful night at the Cannes Film Festival.
While the star was attending the Cannes Film Festival with her sister Dakota, she walked the red carpet in a 1950s vintage Prada prom dress that was so tight she seemed to have trouble staying on her feet. As Elle was seated at the Chopard Trophy Dinner on Monday of the festival, she fainted and fell right out of her chair.
She was helped back to her feet by her sister and actors like Colin Firth. Her fainting spell caused the ceremony to temporarily pause as everyone made sure she was okay.

Elle was a member of the Cannes Film Festival’s jury this year, and the beautiful–but clearly too tight–vintage dress had a corseted waist and a noticeable ballgown-like silhouette. It was a peachy color, complete with small flowers throughout the skirt of the dress.
Elle most recently starred in Maleficent as Aurora, and she has also appeared in films like I Am Sam, We Bought A Zoo, and The Boxtrolls.
