Wearing hats. We love hats but they create the same problem as your phone and can lead to pimples on your forhead. Wash them often (if you use them often) to prevent from getting nasty breakouts and scars.

Talking on the phone. No, you don’t have to stop talking on the phone but you should clean the screen after every use. Makeup, sweat, and bacteria from your face transfers to the screen and if you don’t clean it, it builds up and eventually creates pimples on your face. Avoid putting your phone down in public places as this increases the number of bacteria on your phone.

Touching your face. This feels like it’s almost impossible because you don’t really think about it when you do it; it’s almost out of habit especially if it’s accompanied by emotion. Not everybody washes their hands every 5 seconds so that means there’s bacteria lurking on your hands. Avoid touching your face with dirty hands to prevent breakouts.

Not removing makeup. This is one of the biggest mistakes anybody can make. By not removing your makeup at night, you clog your pores which can in turn produce acne, dry skin, and wrinkles. Cleansing your skin properly is important so don’t skip out on this basic step.

These are a few of the things you could be doing that’s preventing you from having a clear complexion so keep these in mind. If you want to see additional skincare mistakes, check out the video.
