Women are no strangers when it comes to borrowing a few articles of clothing from their man’s closet and an oversized blazer is a must among those borrowed items. Not only does it give a slightly manlier vibe to any look but it can also be quite warm and comforting if you aren’t a fan of showing too much either up top or on the bottom. And if you work in an office, this piece will work in just about any look you choose to wear that day. Convenient, no?

Having an oversize blazer in your closet is essential as it can be worn a million different way. See how you can wear this piece, check out these tips.

Over a dress or skirt. This is the easiest way to upgrade any look for the office or even an interview. There’s no need to adapt the blazer to what your wearing because throwing it on is the only thing you have to do. For formal settings, sticking to dark colors like black, navy, and charcoal will be your best bet as they are more appropriate.

Paired with skinny jeans and heels. This is one of the most classic ways to wear an oversized blazer as it’s paired up with basic pieces you have in your closet. It’s adds femininity to the look while still maintaining that tough, manly edge that the blazer provides. If you want to give this look a go, try wearing it the classic way by wearing white jeans, pointy heels, and a navy oversized blazer for a slightly nautical look.

As an add on. Sometimes oversized blazers can be a bit overwhelming for some women so wearing it as a layer is always a good option. When the weather starts to get a little cold at night, layer a fur vest on top to make it look more feminine and refined.
