The annual fashion show by Salut du Chcoolat held its 22nd Edition in Paris, France this November. The show opened with models wearing outfits that were made and inspired by chocolate, featuring outfits made by some of France’s best chocolatiers and fashion designers.

The show was conceived in the year 1996 with the need to start a trade show that would project chocolate to the public and professionals while exposing chocolate connoisseurs to the world. Models and celebrities are mostly invited while masterclasses are conducted during the fashion show by the biggest chocolatiers in France and the world.

For this year’s event, over 200 international chefs were in attendance for this fest, a duo of 15 fashion designers and chocolatiers came together to create an amazing collection. The event started with the showcase of the creation from October 30 at the Gala Evening then continued through October 31 to November 4.

Models and celebrities who strutted the runway including: French Tv hosts Sandrine Arcizet wore a dress designed with pink and studded with chocolate. Karine Lima in a shape sculpting chocolate lace dress with long fringes, Hedia Charni in a bustier top and tutu skirt dress garnished with windmill fan shape with white and brown chocolates.

Singers Karima Charni also in a tutu and bustier dress with circle chocolate studs, Alizée draped in candy colored chocolate, Lea Deleau was a chocolate butterfly image, Kozie in a chocolate coined two piece and Sophie Tapie with a chocolate hat.

Camille Cerf, Miss France 2015 was a chocolate gladiator, the French and Cameroonian Writer Elizabeth Tchoungui had a bow filled with chocolate in her dress, Tiphinie Hass and Fauve Hatot wore Edible and beautiful creations.

The chocolate runway show has been to various countries of the world namely Tokyo, Brussels, Moscow, Beijing, and London and it fosters chocolate transparency.
